Friends Sarah and Joe welcomed their brand new baby girl, Samara, about three weeks ago, and I was so excited to take the photos for her first portrait session! It was a nice afternoon of hanging out around their house while waiting in between feedings for photos. Joe is a Marine, and Sarah is Coast...
So, after a day of experimenting with setups, often with only a few minutes to shoot before baby started fussing, I’ve learned quite a lot about shooting young infants! However, I feel that the shoot was a success, and came away with some sweet images. Enjoy!
Tomorrow, I have a shoot with this darling 3-week-old girl! My first tiny-baby shoot! Exciting! But today I couldn’t resist finishing a roll of black and white film after the planning session with her mom. Yup, it should be lots of fun. Stay tuned!
