Tammy & Noah – Kapalua Beach Wedding

Another intimate beach wedding, this time on Maui! Tammy is the daughter of old family friends – my parents used to babysit her before I was born, so it was super fun to meet her and photograph her wedding! Her and her groom, Noah, were super fun, as reflected by their enthusiasm about us playing with the fisheye this time around, which came in handy when the sky lit up in another epic Maui sunset. Enjoy!

Here is one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever had the privilege to photograph. After a year and a half of planning, my good friend Michael and his bride Jenna finally tied the knot at the the gorgeous Olowalu Plantation House on Maui. The wedding was styled perfectly, and we were treated to the most spectacular sunset, which even included a double rainbow in the mountains!

Roxy & Matt – June 25th, 2011

Last month I got to photograph the wedding of two of my former UH Art Department classmates at the beautiful Hale Moli’i at Kualoa Ranch. This artistic duo designs eco-friendly T-shirts for their company, Vers Hawaii, so of course they had a fantastic DIY wedding, designing the decorations, stationary, and favors themselves. Roxy’s aunt even made her dress and veil for her! The couple’s family and friends were so fun to hang out with, we had a blast! Congratulations to Roxy and Matt!

My dear friends (whose engagement session is here) got married last Saturday at the beautiful Sunset Ranch, and I’m so excited about these photos that I started editing some while I sorted! I have 2076 total photos narrowed down to 750 at the moment, and here are a few samples!

PS. I’m a bit behind on blogging…currently have three weddings besides Phil & Michelle’s to get posted, including one of my photo partner Mike Carino and his bride, Jenna! I love photographing weddings, but I especially love being there for my friends on their special days!

Natassia & Mark – May 28th, 2011

Natassia and Mark, from the previous engagement session post, had the most fun family and friends surrounding them for their wedding day. Everyone was so full of energy and character, Ed and I had a blast taking photos of everyone! This post is a bit different from my usual traditional shots, because I wanted to share all the fun images of the people at this wedding, especially the bridal party. From the church wedding to the bouquet and garter toss at the Halekulani Hotel, everyone was awesome in front of our cameras, and I loved it. Hope you enjoy looking at these photos as much as we did taking them!

Konalani & Ethan – April 9th, 2011 (With Cariño Studios!)

The husband (Ed, being trained as the second shooter!) and I jetted off to Maui a few Saturdays ago to join up with Mike of Cariño Studios for another gorgeous wedding at the Hui Noeau. The weather was drastically different from the last time we shot there, but I was in love with the dramatic moodiness of the skies, and am so happy to have been able to capture Konalani and Ethan’s special day. Congratulations again to the lovely couple!
